Taniquell O’Tool

MS, LCPC

Most of us are just trying to build a life where we can feel useful, valued, autonomous, and connected to the people who matter most. But today, those basic desires can feel harder than ever to cultivate and protect. It’s completely normal to find yourself wondering if you’re even built for the pace and noise of modern living.

I offer a therapeutic space and approach that allows you to show up as you are and unpack the pieces of yourself and your life comfortably, at your own pace. Sessions are down-to-earth, organic, and conversational. My style is easygoing, approaching goals and problems with humor, creativity, and a versatile mix of therapeutic tools I’ve gathered in my decade as a therapist.

I have a particular interest in working with anxiety, depression, ADHD, chronic illness and pain, relationship dynamics, and questions of purpose, inspiration, and spirituality. I avoid trying to fit people into a particular model or fixing what is “wrong,” viewing struggles instead as natural reactions to an increasingly demanding world. I believe there is enormous value in understanding yourself without judgment and learning to work with your nature rather than continually fighting against it. My aim is to help clients make peace with the ways their minds and bodies genuinely work.

I’ve always had a curiosity-driven brain that loves soaking up new information and ideas, and I bring that same open energy into our work together to help you figure out who you are, what you want, and how to build a life of your own design. Off the clock, I’m a natural homebody and keep life simple and low-key. You'll usually find me spending time with my husband and two young daughters, out for a walk or occasional run, or starting a project I might eventually finish.
