Each of us has the innate ability for positive growth. I believe that through empathy, awareness, and authenticity we can work together to establish the environment for that growth to flourish. The more that we are able to know ourselves and feel at home in our own bodies, the better we are able to connect with those around us.
Originally from a small town in Northwestern Montana, I came to Bozeman for my undergraduate degree and ended up staying to complete a graduate program as well. I recently graduated with a Master of Science in Counseling - Marriage, Couples, and Family from Montana State. As a counselor, I am passionate about working with children, adolescents, and adults at both the individual and systemic levels. Due to my upbringing in a rural part of Montana, I am also passionate about providing mental health resources to rural communities. In supporting that passion along with seeing clients at Wellspring, I am providing outpatient counseling services at Manhattan Public Schools and hope to continue to build connections to rural communities in the Gallatin Valley.
II enjoy engaging in the use of authenticity to build a relationship where you feel seen and accepted for all of who you are. Through the counseling relationship, I aim to provide all clients with a space that feels welcoming and allows them to show up as authentically as possible. My commitment to my own authenticity and empathic understanding, of who you are as an individual, allows clients to grow and learn through relationship. I have experience working with depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, and adjustment disorders. As I gain more knowledge in the counseling field, I look forward to expanding my experience with different client populations.
