Do we bill insurance?

Wellspring Counseling, PLLC is contracted with BCBS, Pacific Source, Mountain Health Co-op, Allegiance/Cigna and First Health Network. You are responsible for all out-of-pocket costs that your health insurance does not cover.

How much does a session cost?

75-minute intake assessment is $200, and a 55-minute therapy session is $175. Late cancellation and no-show fee is $75-$175 (not billable to insurance). Depending on your insurance plan, you may be responsible for some or all of the session fee. You are responsible for finding out your mental health benefits prior to your first session.

Are sessions confidential?

Unless you are at risk of hurting yourself or another person; are aware of current abuse or neglect to an elderly person, disabled person, or a minor; your records are subpoenaed, the contents of session are kept confidential.

Will we meet in person or via Telehealth?

Based on your therapist’s availability, in person and video sessions are offered. Please discuss your preference for session format with your therapist directly. Some insurance plans may not cover Telehealth. You are responsible for contacting your insurance prior to your first Telehealth session to determine if your plan will cover video therapy sessions.

How long does therapy take?

It is different for everybody, and depends on many factors. Generally speaking, therapy is an open-ended process, which allows us flexibility to meet your needs through every stage. Some insurance plans may allow a certain number of sessions per calendar year. It is your responsibility to find out if your insurance plan has an annual session limit.

How often will we meet?

Schedules permitting, sessions are held weekly at a regular time you and your therapist agree upon.
