Becoming a therapist has been both a challenge and an honor. After emigrating to the U.S., I made a bold shift in my career path—leaving behind what I had been taught was the “right” thing to do and instead following the quiet pull of my heart. Along the way, I found community, meaning, and a deep sense of purpose.
My journey to clinical social work wasn’t linear. I came from a background in corporate management, sales and marketing, and backcountry sports. I’ve also worked in community mental health and social services. Through it all, I’ve remained passionate about personal growth and being of service to others. When I finally allowed myself to truly listen—to others and to myself—clinical social work found me.
I bring to therapy a unique blend of lived experience and professional expertise. Like many of my clients, I know what it means to face heartbreak, anxiousness, loss, trauma, confusion, and despair. These experiences shape my work and fuel my compassion. I offer a space grounded in safety, unconditional positive regard, and a deep understanding of trauma.
My clinical approach draws from Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, somatic healing, mindfulness-based compassion practices, and Open Dialogue. These modalities support healing at the nervous system level, foster self-awareness and integration, and honor the wisdom of the body and the power of authentic connection.
Clients often tell me they return because of the warmth, humor, and genuine support they feel in our work together. I consider it a privilege to accompany people through their healing and growth.
